Babis Pavlopoulos

Babis Pavlopoulos was born in Athens. He studied Buisiness Administration at the Technological Educational Institute of Piraeus, while he also worked professionally as a photographer. Early on, an attempt was made to get acquainted with the Greek traditional architecture, as well as a recording through the photographic lens of the remaining samples. This effort, beyond the structured invironment, has been extended to the natural, to the places that are the natural heritage of our country.

He has collaborated with the travel magazines "Explore Nature", "Geotropio" and "Greek Panorama" and he has published articles about Mani's traditional architecture.

Babis is the author of three books: "Towers and Fortified Residences in the Peloponnese, 15th - 19th century" (study - alboum), "Lake Kerkini" (natural environment & lakeside architecture) and "Monasteries in Greece, 15 centuries of history and architecture" (short presentation of the historical and architectural theme - guide). Also the calendars - alboums: "Greek Wetlands" for 2009, "Greek Traditional Settlements" for 2010, "Tour on Greek Mountains" for 2011, as well as the wall - calendars: "Monasteries of the Peloponnese" for 2008, "Stone Bridges" for 2009, "European Medieval Castles" for 2012, "Wildflowers" for 2013, "Birds" for 2015 and "Moments of Greece" 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018.

We like to introduce our city and our country to visitors. We organize actions/experiences in the city of Athens and in the Peloponnese for small or bigger groups to introduce the traditional architecture and the nature of our motherland, Greece.

Μπάμπης Παυλόπουλος

Ο Μπάμπης Παυλόπουλος γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα. Σπούδασε Διοίκηση Επιχειρήσεων στο ΤΕΙ Πειραιά, ενώ παράλληλα ασχολήθηκε επαγγελματικά και με τη φωτογραφία. Από νωρίς ξεκίνησε μία προσπάθεια γνωριμίας με την ελληνική παραδοσιακή αρχιτεκτονική, καθώς και μία καταγραφή μέσω του φωτογραφικού φακού των εναπομείναντων δειγμάτων αυτής. Η προσπάθεια αυτή, πέρα από το δομημένο περιβάλλον, επεκτάθηκε και στο φυσικό, σε τόπους που αποτελούν τη φυσική κληρονομιά της χώρας μας.

Έχει συνεργαστεί με τα ταξιδιωτικά περιοδικά «Explore Nature», «Γεωτρόπιο», και «Ελληνικό Πανόραμα», ενώ έχει δημοσιεύσει πολλά άρθρα για την παραδοσιακή αρχιτεκτονική της Μάνης σε τοπικά έντυπα.

Έχει εκδώσει τα βιβλία : «Πύργοι και Οχυρές Κατοικίες της Πελοποννήσου, 15ος - 19ος αιώνας» ( μελέτη - λεύκωμα ), «Λίμνη Κερκίνη» (φυσικό περιβάλλον & παραλίμνια αρχιτεκτονική) και "Μοναστήρια στην Ελλάδα, 15 αιώνες ιστορίας και αρχιτεκτονικής" (σύντομη παρουσίαση του θέματος ιστορικά & αρχιτεκτονικά - οδηγός περιήγησης). Επίσης, τα ημερολόγια - λευκώματα : «Ελληνικοί Υγροβιότοποι» για το 2009, «Των Ελλήνων Οικισμοί» για το 2010, «Ορέων Περιήγησις» για το 2011, καθώς και τα επιτοίχια ημερολόγια: «Μοναστήρια της Πελοποννήσου» για το 2008, «Πετρογέφυρα» για το 2009, «Ευρωπαϊκά Μεσαιωνικά Κάστρα» για το 2012, "Αγριολούλουδα" για το 2013, "Πουλιά" για το 2015 και "Στιγμές Ελλάδας" 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018.
